SK Energy (skenergyshots.com) is looking for vibrant, driven young people to support its product sales in the greater New York area.

SK Energy Sales Interns will gain valuable sales and marketing experience in the fast paced business landscape of New York. They will be responsible for opening and developing relationships with key independent retail accounts within their designated areas.

Interns will gain real life work experience in a fast-growing consumer packaged goods brand; professional development opportunities and coaching will also be offered by senior members of the SK Energy team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with independent retailers to ensure product availability and placement
  • Accurately deliver SK Energy’s brand messaging, including key product attributes, to retailers
  • Visit independent retailers daily
  • Provide product sampling support for existing retail accounts

Requirements

  • Sales related work experience, ideally in consumer goods
  • Highly driven, winning personality
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Extremely outgoing
  • Some knowledge of New York City is preferred (must be local)
  • Able to work independently
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and key social media tools including Facebook & Twitter
  • Current college student or recent grad

This is a PAID internship. Compensation will consist of a bi-weekly base and performance incentives.

For candidates in the outer boroughs, having a car is a plus.
